Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU (Travel) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date: 05/04/2026 for an 8-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,695-$1,759 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts on a 2x3 Nights schedule. Setting: a hospital unit with a 28-bed PCU/IMCU focused on cardiac care; telemetry beds may be assigned to lower-acuity patients within the same unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct bedside nursing care for adults in a PCU/IMCU with a cardiac focus
- Continuously monitor telemetry, vital signs, and patient status; respond to rhythm changes and acute events
- Administer cardiac medications and drips per orders (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) with careful assessment and documentation
- Perform timely and accurate patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with cardiology, physicians, pharmacists, case management, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and prepare for safe transitions
- Support patient safety, infection control, and daily activities; provide patient and family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a facility of similar size (28-bed PCU/IMCU)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to work night shift (12-hour shifts) and to cover telemetry beds within the unit as needed
- Demonstrated competency in cardiac care, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and CP scenarios
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
