Lead/ Assistant Teacher for Pre-School Classes

Summary

Creative Image Learning Center is currently hiring Pre-School Teachers. We are seeking energetic, fun-loving, and professional teachers with excellent communication skills. Teachers are expected to create fulfilled activities that correspond with GELDS and Abeka Curriculum. In addition they should be able to adapt to current situation. ALL teaching positions require that the teachers show evidence of teaching, decorating and corresponding appropriately.

Duties

Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

- Must have a CDA, TCC, or a Degree in Early Childhood Education or should be working towards one.
- Must have your current CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Must have the letter from Bright from the Start concerning the live fingerprint scan background check that is less than 12 months old
-Must be able to complete weekly lesson plan
- Must be familiar with all of the rules and regulations from Bright from the Start
- Must be familiar with Quality Rated
- Must have at least 2 years working in a state licensed child care facility
