Primary purpose of this position is to serve as program/project coordinator for assigned special programs/projects and to serve as the Unit Deployment Manager for the assigned organization. DUTY 1: (35%)- Plans, organizes, and analyzes programs in conjunction with other journeyman and lead analysts ensuring human resource management and guidance to the servicing organizations, complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Provides staff and management support services in the areas of organizational and personnel management, personnel actions, organizational mission, functions and manning. DUTY 2: (25%)- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and logistics related objectives. DUTY 3: (20%)- Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals. Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses. DUTY 4: (20%)- Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations. 5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution. 6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
