Primary responsibilities
- Customer Service: Assist customers in finding products, answer questions about various types of beverages, and offer personalized recommendations.
- Sales and Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process payments (including cash, credit, and other forms of payment), and maintain accurate sales records.
- Age verification: Strictly check and verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with the law.
- Inventory management: Receive and store deliveries, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Store maintenance: Keep the store clean, which includes dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and maintaining displays to ensure a tidy and well-organized environment.
Additional duties
- Unload and organize incoming shipments.
- Create and maintain product displays.
- Assist with inventory counts and reporting.
- Take special orders for merchandise not in stock.
- Assist with store security and loss prevention.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
