We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Forklift Operator proficient in handling multiple types of forklift equipment. This role involves ensuring efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse during 10-hour shifts. The operator will manage both inbound and outbound shipments with no travel required between sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts to transport materials safely
- Handle inventory, including counting and organization within the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments efficiently for both inbound and outbound goods
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections
- Pick orders accurately from inventory for shipment preparation
- Maintain warehouse organization to support smooth workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Certified Forklift Operator License
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse safety standards
- Proficient in material handling and inventory management
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Physical stamina to manage extended shift demands
