As a Security Professional - Access Control Team in Stone Mountain, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a financial institution, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing access control and monitoring entry points. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will utilize your skills in access control and technology, such as computers or tablets, to support daily operations. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies, adapting to the needs of a financial institution environment.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and/or clients in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
