Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Instructional aides are needed to provide one-on-one and small group support in a school setting located in Tunnel Hill, GA. This per diem, as-needed role offers flexible shifts based on school coverage requirements and is ideal for compassionate individuals committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially alongside classroom staff. You will assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation while implementing behavior support plans and adhering to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Additional duties involve supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care needs of students, all while maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to complete TB test per district guidelines
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to employment

Preferred experience:

• Working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Positive Management Techniques), or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and a team-oriented approach
