Travel Cytotechnologist Job

Responsibilities
- Prepare, stain, and examine cellular samples under a microscope.
- Identify cellular abnormalities and report findings to pathologists.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment used in cytological analysis.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Document findings accurately and maintain patient records.
- Travel to different healthcare facilities based on assignment needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or a related field.
- Certification: ASCP certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of cytology experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
