Business Development Specialist
We are a fast-growing startup organization seeking a full-time Business Development Specialist to join our team as a key player in initiating and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers. The candidate will develop and manage their individual portfolio and work in a collaborative team environment. Interested applicants will need to conduct market research and analyze their company’s current products and services to determine necessary adjustments for increased customer engagement. This candidate will serve as a reliable resource for customers, providing information on service offerings, market trends, industry standards, and offering quotes on services.

Reports To: Operations Assistant Manager
Summary: The Business Development Specialist supports the Business Development Assistant Manager in driving growth within the automotive sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and creating strategic partnerships with client and vendors. This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide reliable support in achieving business development goals.
Responsibilities:
- Work with and support the manager in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within supplier channels
- Assist in building and maintain strong relationships with client
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and client requirements
- Support the preparations of proposals, quotations, and presentations for client meetings and negotiations
- Coordinate external meetings with client side to meet the production goal
Secondary:
Assist with billing tasks, including submitting purchase orders, preparing invoices, and tracking payment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preffered to have 1 years of direct or indirect expereince
- Ability to analyze data, develop insights
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and strong relationship-building capabilities
- Proficiency in MS excel (Vlookup, pivot, sumif, etc) & powerpoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support managers in fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

The estimated base salary range for the Business Development Specialist is $55,700-$61,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
