Senior Cloud Engineer

Location - Atlanta GA (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office)

Are you a seasoned cloud professional with a passion for designing and optimizing multi-cloud infrastructures? We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer within the Atlanta, GA area to lead the comprehensive lifecycle management of our cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Rate: $58,834.00 - $158,800.00 / yr. w2

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Deploy: Collaborate with development teams, architects, and security teams to design cloud-native solutions and integrate applications seamlessly with cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize & Automate: Create scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across AWS and GCP. Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Enhance CI/CD: Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment.
• Cost Management: Monitor and optimize cloud spending, implementing cost-saving measures and developing reporting mechanisms.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance to protect cloud environments and data integrity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 7+ years in cloud technologies, with expertise in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting languages (Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Cloud Networking: Hands-on experience with VPC, security groups, direct connect, subnets, load balancers, Route 53, Aviatrix, VPN, and Transit Gateways.
• FinOps Expertise: Drive FinOps best practices by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud spend.
• Leadership: Mentor junior cloud engineers and develop comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
