Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Verify all billing documents accurately.


• Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.


• Accurately code and input receivable invoice information in customer SAP programs, when applicable.


• Maintain up-to-date customer accounts, ensuring credits are applied appropriately.


• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.


• Issue customer statements monthly.


• Post payments to customer accounts.

Reporting & Financing Support:

• Prepare and monitor aging reports and summaries to track outstanding payments.


• Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate with the Controller and other team members to resolve issues.


• Communicate effectively with field employees on billing related matters.


• Manage customer billing inquiries, payment requests, and disputes with professionalism, ensuring clear and prompt communication.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles.

Technical Skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet, and database software.


• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Excel a plus.
