Childcare Director
Summary Overseas daily operations, staff and programs, ensuring a safe and stimulating environemnt for children. Duties *Hiring, training, supervising and evaluating staff to ensure they meet policies and legal requirements.
*Desiging and Implementing educational programs and activities that promote child develoment, in line with early childhood principles.
*Communicating with parents about childrens progres, addressing concerns, and building positive community relationships.
*Overseeing daily activities, managing facility maintenance, and ensuring the center meets health, safety, and licensing standards.
*Adhering to local, state, and federal regulations regarding childcare, health and safety.
*Create menus and prepare cooked meals daily for 40 children. Requirements EDUCATION : A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is often required.
LEADERSHIP: The ability to motivate, inspire, and effectively manage a team of staff.
COMMUNICATION : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
ORGANIZATION : Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various demands and responsibilities effectively.
KNOWLEDGE OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT: A solid understanding of early childhood development theories and best practicies.
PROBLEM-SOLVING: The ability to address challenges, conflicts, and unexpected situations with proffesionalism and empathy
*1 year of center director experience in a licensed facility
*Must have 40 hour director course completed
*CPR and FIRST AID in Compliance
