Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site) - Roswell/Sandy Springs Area
Salary: $50K - $60K (Negotiable/Flexible) DOE

Our client is one of the most influential personal injury law firms in America. They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team.
Position Summary: The A/P Specialist will be responsible for managing AP transactions, vendor and client payments, trust and settlement accounting, daily deposits, and reconciliations, while collaborating closely with the accounting team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities- Assist Accounting Manager with the day-to-day AP transactions
- Review vendor invoices/bills for accuracy prior to processing and posting
- Processing checks for Vendors, Clients and Providers
- Assist the Accounting Team and become the backup for Settlement rotation tasks
- Assist preparing and maintaining the daily deposits on spreadsheet
- Assist in processing client settlement checks and electronic payments
- Properly maintain and reconcile Client Trust accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferred or associate’s degree in accounting with 3+ years of practical experience as an Accounts Payable Staff/Clerk or 5+ years of AP experience preferably in a personal injury law office
- Familiarity with IOLTA and experience in a personal injury law firm, preferred
- Experienced in using accounting software: QB Desktop and/or QB Online
- Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience using Filevine or similar law related database software
- Team player who is assertive, goal-oriented, positive, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task
- High level of integrity and enthusiasm
- Always curious and wanting to learn new skills and take on new tasks
- Having the mindset of “I’ll figure it out and get it resolved/done”
