Senior Frontend Engineer - FCM
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team. Summary: In this role, the Senior Frontend Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver valuable SaaS software solutions to our customers. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with demonstrable expertise in browser-based applications
- Passion for web standards and creating user-friendly experiences
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and extensive experience with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, including semantic markup and responsive design principles
- Ability to write and maintain meaningful unit tests that support feature development using frameworks such as Jest or Cyprus
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices, such as atomic commits and meaningful commit messages
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to break down complex tasks and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical users
- Experience using modern AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Experience with Web Components and other browser-native APIs is a plus
- Experience with Monorepos and GitHub NPM Package Repository is a plus
- Experience contributing to open-source projects is a plus
- Familiarity with .NET framework and backend technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is a plus
- Proficient with macOS is a plus
