Member Records Clerk
:
A. Post amounts collected for Memberships, Deposits, fees, construction charges and all other miscellaneous receivables in preparation for daily balancing processes.B. Prepare daily bank depositsC. Balance daily Membership and Deposit reports to applicable spreadsheets, reports and General LedgerD. Process monthly billing for all member-consumer accountsE. Set up and Maintain Member-consumer FlexPay accountsF. Process and post Member-consumer payments received at BRMEMC approved Collection stations, outside of main BRMEMC headquartersG. Assist Member-consumers with billing, payment and general member account concernsH. Process payments returned by Bank daily (non-sufficient funds, account closed, etc)I. Maintain Member-consumer auto bank draft/ACH payment processesJ. Process daily Disconnect lists, verifying all payments prior to disconnecting Member-consumer serviceK. Process daily Service OrdersL. Prepare monthly report of Memberships issued and cancelled for review and approval by the Board Finance CommitteeM. Process monthly Write-Off report for Board Finance Committee in preparation for submission to Collections Agency.N. Process monthly statement of collections from Collections agency, verifying and posting all payments in preparation for balancing to General LedgerO. File & Maintain member documents in Imaging systemP. Assist with duties as required in absence of co-workersQ. Any other duties as required or directed
Position requires a high school education or equivalent. Some experience in accounting procedures and computer functions, preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.20 per hour
