We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Material Handler Clamp Operator to support our client’s production and shipping operations. Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as Needed)

Job Summary: Maintains production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of verifiable Material Handler experience
• 1+ years of verifiable Clamp Operator experience
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Pass a background and drug screen
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• 20/20 vision with or without glasses/contacts
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand 10 hours
• Flexible to work throughout standard hours of operation, weekends and extended hours if necessary

Physical demands and abilities

• Regularly sitting/standing on a powered industrial truck
• Frequently lift to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
• Having a good sense of balance
• Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon the season
• Overtime as required
