ARC Welder 3rd Shift

• Location: Royston, GA
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Schedule: 3rd Shift (Overnight)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced ARC Welder to join a metal manufacturing facility in Royston, GA. This is a 3rd shift opportunity ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in welding within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ARC welding to assemble and fabricate metal components used in checkout counters and shelving units.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure weld accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Prepare and position materials by cutting, cleaning, and aligning metal parts prior to welding.
• Inspect finished welds for structural integrity, precision, and adherence to specifications.
• Operate grinders, cutters, and other finishing tools as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety procedures and plant guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Proven ARC welding experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with metal properties and proper welding techniques.
• Proficient with basic fabrication tools (grinders, clamps, cutters).
• Comfortable working overnight shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification a plus.
