Instructional aides are essential in supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within school environments. Position Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements (School Compliance)

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• TB test as per district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and able to work well as part of a team
