Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler builds products and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment. This role follows detailed work instructions and blueprints, performs quality checks, and supports daily production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components, products, and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools according to specifications and production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and written instructions to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.
- Measure materials and components accurately using a tape measure to meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Inspect finished parts and assemblies to verify they meet quality standards and company specifications.
- Operate drills, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and other production tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, following all safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.
- Support and meet daily production goals by working efficiently and maintaining steady output.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve assembly issues and suggest improvements to processes.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, and handling components throughout the shift.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forsyth, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
