Description

Ace Handyman Services is seeking a dependable and multi-skilled Craftsman to join our growing team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of home repair and improvement services, including carpentry, drywall, light plumbing, light electrical work, and general maintenance.

Overview

As a Multi-Skilled Craftsman, your day-to-day work may involve traveling to multiple customer homes or businesses, assessing repair needs, completing projects efficiently, and delivering excellent customer service.

Your expertise will directly help homeowners and commercial clients improve and maintain their spaces.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial repair and maintenance projects
• Perform carpentry and wood rot repair, drywall work, and general home improvements
• Handle light plumbing and light electrical tasks safely and professionally
• Communicate clearly with clients about job details, timelines, and expectations
• Maintain high-quality workmanship across all service calls
• Troubleshoot unexpected issues and solve problems in the field
• Represent Ace Handyman Services with professionalism and integrity

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a handyman, craftsman, or in residential construction
• Must have proof of valid auto insurance
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a reliable vehicle such as a truck, SUV, or van for transporting tools and materials
• Must have your own tools

Nice to Have

• Experience in specialized trades such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
• Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges in the field
