Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications to support our products and services. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend systems.

Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with front-end and third-party applications.

Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Collaborate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Ensure adherence to security and data protection standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of experience in backend software development.

Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Ruby).

Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
