The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providingpersons, families or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services. Completes bio-psychosocial assessments, collaborates with consumers to complete individualized treatment plans, conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions, makes appropriate referrals for needed services, responsible for pursuing licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. This position is an integral part of the agencys Mental Health Outpatient programand reports directly to the selected team leadwith the appropriate latitude for utilizing seasoned judgment to accomplish his/her responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree is required and eligibility to be licensed as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
