Assistant Teacher
Seeking self-motivated, reliable and hard-working assistant teachers for Lottery-funded Pre-K classroom. Candidates must possess a TCC/CDA certificate or higher. Knowledge/experience of the Montessori method of teaching preferred. Position includes, but not limited to, moving furniture, cleaning, implementing lesson plan activities, organizing, interacting respectively with parents and children, preparing and closing the room daily, compiling communication with parents, such as, newsletters, and other daily functions to ensure the room meets all Bright From The Start requirements. Will need to start immediately.
Individual must be reliable and passionate about educating young children. Must have a minimum of a CDA to meet Bright From The Start requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Must also be dependable and most importantly have a friendly and nurturing disposition. Previous Pre-K experience and/or the Montessori method of teaching highly desirable.
