Job Details:

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a 36-bed medical surgical unit
• Patient ratios: 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 2 years of experience required with 1 year minimum unit experience
• Unit accepts first time travelers
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Work expected holidays based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
