Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to support our Billing Manager and broader finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, keeping processes tight, data clean, and deadlines intact. You’ll play a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, financial reporting support, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.

If you like structure, spreadsheets, and solving small problems before they become big ones, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting
• QuickBooks experience, including invoicing, payment processing, and generating financial reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional internal and client-facing interactions
• Strong administrative and clerical abilities, including document, database, and record management
• Solid numeracy skills supporting scheduling, budgeting, and accounting functions
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of delinquent accounts and execute collection efforts
• Skilled in communicating with debtors through inbound/outbound calls and email
• Strong investigative and research capabilities
• Collaborative team player able to work cross-functionally to resolve issues
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, billing, or related field
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience in billing or accounts receivable support
• Familiarity with reporting and financial data analysis
