Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional environments as directed by the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager.
- Set up imaging equipment, position patients, and ensure safety, accuracy, and quality of diagnostic studies per department procedures.
- Operate imaging systems, apply appropriate protocols, and implement radiation safety and dose-optimization measures.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care, monitoring before, during, and after procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain equipment readiness, assist with sterile technique, and support timely workflow during interventional procedures.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative in exam performance and equipment utilization.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license/registration as required by Georgia state regulations.
- Certification: ARRT in radiography; interventional radiography (IR) certification preferred.
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; completion of an accredited program.
- Experience: Relevant experience in interventional radiology or vascular imaging preferred.
- Ability to perform procedures in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 13 weeks and meet assignment requirements.
