Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology
Description
This contract position is on-site, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to our state-of-the-art medical practice while delivering exceptional patient care.
As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. This position will allow you to engage in a variety of radiological procedures and contribute to interdisciplinary approaches in patient management.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases
- Supervise and mentor radiology technicians and interns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with advancements in radiology
- Provide outstanding patient care and address any concerns related to procedures
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiology or eligibility for certification
- Experience working in a clinical radiology setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with radiology software and imaging technology
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
DEA required
