As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist** in **Savannah, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a strong and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within an aerospace and defense environment.
+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
