Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Technical Field Clerk professional to provide administrative, document control, and logistical support to field operations and engineering teams. This role is responsible for organizing project documentation, supporting field technology, tracking RFIs and reports, and maintaining accurate records for materials, equipment, and field documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced field environment.
Job Description
- Provide administrative and logistical support to field operations as needed.
- Support field technology (iPhones and iPads), including troubleshooting and system updates/downloads.
- Assist engineers in gathering, preparing, and organizing data for submittals, transmittals to customers, vendors, subcontractors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders, including maintenance of recordkeeping.
- Assist in generating program reports for distribution.
- Prepare, submit, and track RFI / DTC tickets in compliance with state and project requirements.
- Assist with reconciling paper documents to digital systems, including timecards and checklists.
- Perform minor purchasing through company systems when required.
- Assist in maintaining accurate material, equipment, and tooling records.
- Support updates to the standards library and ensure field access to current standards and reference materials.
- Assist with continuous improvement of field documentation and data-tracking.
Skills Required
- 3+ years of administrative, document control, or office management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
- High level of attention to detail and document accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Reliable transportation to and from work and must have a valid Driver’s License
- Prior experience in the construction, manufacturing, or mining industries
- Bachelor’s or associate degree
- Experience with PDF software (Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam)

Pay Rate/Salary
- Pay Rate $31-$33/ hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
