**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
+ Monitor for potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations and/or hazards according to site procedures.
+ Support Allied Universal team members and site personnel during emergency and/or evacuation situations.
+ Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to the chemical and petrochemical industry.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.
+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
