Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Title: Dental Assistant (Pediatric Dental office).
Location: Woodland Pediatric Dentistry, 255 Village Parkway, Suite 250, Marietta, GA, 30067.
Pay: Starting at $18/hour (Earn up to $24/hour as skills progress).
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays all day 8am-5pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoon 1-5 pm. We occasionally alternate our Tuesdays and Thursdays, so you will get a day off during the week. Fridays 8am-2:30 pm (Get ready for weekend early!) NO SATURDAYS OR EVENING HOURS.

About the Role:
We are specifically looking for individuals with a background not only in dental assisting but in high-end hospitality or fast-paced service environments (such as premium retail or top-tier local dining). If you are known for your "service with a smile," your ability to remain calm under pressure, and your impeccable "East Cobb" manners, you are a fast learner and enjoy working with children, you will thrive in our office. We value the discipline and professional demeanor learned in gold-standard service roles and are excited to help you transition those skills into a long-term healthcare career.

Prior dental experience is required. However if you are newer to dentistry but you have a great personality, a strong work ethic, and a desire to help people we will provide clinical training you need to succeed.

We can train you on how to take X-rays and assist the doctor, but we cannot train integrity. We are looking for someone who:

Your Responsibilities (We Will Train You!):

• Preparing treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures.
• Assisting with our hygiene schedule which will include taking X-rays, coronal polish and assisting the doctor with exams.
• Assisting during clinical procedures, nitrous procedures and IV sedation.
• Sterilizing instruments, maintaining a clean, safe environment and follow OSHA protocols.
• Communicating clearly with patients about their care.
• Documenting patient records with high attention to detail.

Compensation & Growth:

• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour if you are a new dental assistant.
• Growth Path: As you master clinical skills and take on more responsibility, your pay will increase—up to $24.00 per hour.
