Overview
Radiology Tech – MRI Technologist needed for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. Location: Cumming, GA, United States. Start date: 08/24/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,096–$2,254 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour days, 12x3 schedule (Friday–Sunday) from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- EMR/care setting: Cerner usage in a busy ED/inpatient/outpatient environment

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations per physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Screen patients, assess contraindications, monitor during imaging, and provide appropriate patient care throughout the MRI process.
- Acquire and process high-quality MRI images, adhering to established protocols and safety standards; aid in breast biopsy imaging as part of exam suites.
- Operate MRI equipment, perform safety checks, and coordinate with radiologists to meet clinical needs.
- Document procedures and findings in the Cerner EMR; ensure accurate, timely entry of patient data and images.
- Collaborate with ED, inpatient, and outpatient teams to support timely diagnostic imaging and patient workflow.

Requirements
- Certification: ARRT (RT) or MR, or ARMRIT (MR)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience in a hospital or similar setting
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
- EMR: Familiarity with Cerner preferred
- Scheduling: Ability to work the Fri–Sun 7:00 am–7:30 pm weekend shift; willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (average 25–30 patients per day)
- Location restrictions: Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment site
