Area Sales & Branch Manager - Staffing
As the Area Sales & Branch Manager in Rome, GA, you will be responsible for driving new business through consistent outside sales activity while overseeing the performance of a local staffing branch. This role is designed for a hands‑on sales leader who thrives in face‑to‑face selling, prospecting, and relationship building within the local market.
Success in this role starts with the ability to win new accounts, grow revenue, and establish strong client relationships. Branch leadership, team development, and operational oversight support, but do not replace the core responsibility of outside sales execution. What You’ll Do- Drive new business through outside sales, including in‑person prospecting, cold calling, networking, and client visits
- Build and maintain relationships with local decision‑makers across multiple industries
- Identify workforce needs and present customized staffing solutions
- Negotiate pricing, service terms, and contracts
- Meet and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Lead and develop branch staff to support sales growth and service delivery
- Oversee branch operations, recruiting activity, and service quality
- Ensure branch performance aligns with company standards for profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Proven outside sales experience with a strong record of closing new business
- Comfort prospecting in person and building relationships face‑to‑face
- Ability to work independently and manage a local sales territory
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Leadership experience or readiness to lead a small team
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Compensation
Salary $52k to $70k + commission
