Project Manager - Water / Wastewater

Title: Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants
Location: Atlanta, GA 30076 (North Atlanta)
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

We are a leading heavy civil and environmental construction company employing approximately 1,000 people across the Southeast. Our Atlanta office specializes in water and wastewater treatment plant construction, pump stations, and related infrastructure . Clients include municipalities, utilities, and industrial organizations seeking reliable solutions for clean water and environmental compliance. As a Project Manager, you will oversee water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects , including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Oversee compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Candidates must have direct project management experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction and be willing to relocate to the greater Atlanta area (commuting arrangements will not be considered)
• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or treatment plant construction
• Strong knowledge of treatment plant processes, pump stations, and related mechanical systems
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
