STAFF QUALIFICATIONS FOR INSTRUCTORS:

" Enjoys working with Children in a safe indoor/outdoor setting.
-Has at least 2 years of successful Teaching experience working with Children, with verifiable references in the United States. The ages of the Children who we teach are primarily from 4-10 years old.
-Has a lot of energy
-A problem solver that can work independently by following detailed instuctions
-Is Trustworthy, Reliable and Punctual
-Will pass a Fingerprinting Background check (These are Requirements of the Job)
-Can effectively and safely teach Children a variety of tennis based skills based on weekly lesson plans.
-Available at least 3 afternoons per week, between the hours of 3:00 " 6:00pm, on Mondays-Fridays.
-Must have dependable transportation and valid drivers license
-Experience with Sports, Tennis and/or teaching other Enrichment programs is preferred. However, we will train if needed.

Job Requirements:
High energy, positive, and encouraging personality who enjoys working with kids ages 4-12
Natural connector; ability to network with and make inroads with North Shore parents of young kids
Infectious love of tennis
Experience with QuickStart (10 and Under) Tennis instruction
Administrative skills; well-organized and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Team-oriented. Able to contribute meaningfully to the Of team of Jr Directors

Job Responsibilities:
Report to Tennis Director
Evaluate potential players and place in appropriate classes
Build relationships with junior players and parents
Plan events at local schools, moms groups and other organizations to build awareness and recruit potential players for QuickStart
Monitor class rosters, registrations, and attendance for accuracy
Create/communicate lesson plans for each class
Communicate with parents on students progress and areas of growth.
