Position Overview:

The School Clinic Substitute Certified Nursing Assistant provides supportive health care assistance to students in a school clinic environment under supervision. The CNA supports basic student care needs and assists clinic operations in accordance with CCSD procedures.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active CNA certification listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification required.

• Other requirements:

  • Completed fingerprint-based background check.
  • Completion of CCSD clinic substitute orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with basic health needs within the scope of certification.
• Support clinic staff with routine tasks and student monitoring.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
• Document activities accurately using CCSD-approved forms
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain student confidentiality and professional behavior.
