We are looking for a Relief Operator to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA.

BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

During your X-hour shift as a Relief Operator, you will

Perform any duties as required by assigned Team Leader or member of Management. Routinely participate in area housekeeping audits with Team Leaders and Management. Follow direction from Blending Coordinators notes and interact with Blending Coordinator as needed.
Understand, monitor, and operate within process safety operational guidelines and report process safety incidents. Complete process safety training as required by company.
Complete safety shift inspection checklists for all outside areas and all inside satellite areas.
Send e-mail notification on any repairs needed to the Team Leader, Production Specialist & all operators in the area.
Work as a team with the other Logistics operators to set priorities on workload and to accomplish workload as scheduled. Collaborate with Team Leader if needed to set priorities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of accountability.
Access SDS forms and EHS procedures on the computer.
Follow all written or verbal instructions and work, unsupervised, to task completion.
Direct truck drivers from the staging areas and truck stops using telephones, and plant radios, including properly spotting trucks per procedures.
Safely operate, maintain, perform minor repairs, and make proper adjustments on associated equipment in work areas.
Properly label and store materials.

If you...

Have high school diploma or GED.
Have a valid US driver’s license.
Show the ability to read, write, count, and perform accurate arithmetic calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Pay transparency

The pay rate for this role is $27.63 per the Union's collective bargaining agreement.
