Business Development Officer - SBA Lending - US Remote
Were seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to drive SBA loan growth and manage small business client relationships nationwide. This role covers origination, underwriting coordination, risk management, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and originate SBA loans, equipment leasing, and ABL financing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small business owners, brokers, and referral networks.
- Expand market presence through networking, referrals, and targeted strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing to develop sales strategies.
- Manage loan applications, present credits to committees, and oversee funding coordination.
- Achieve annual production goals while actively using Salesforce to track deal flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in financial services sales with proven SBA expertise.
- Demonstrated annual production of $20MM+ over the past 3 years.
- Strong credit, commercial lending, and risk management skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, loan structuring, and SBA programs.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Active referral network preferred.
Location
OTE minimum expected is $450K
Flexible position may be based nationally.
