HVAC Apprentice/Helper

Qualifications:  Have and maintain a clean driving record. Ability to perform independently and in a team-oriented environment. Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn the trade. Professional appearance and hygiene. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to carry or lift 50lbs or more. Possess necessary hand tools, meters, & gauges. Tool purchasing assistance. (eligible after 30 days) Experience with HVAC and Refrigeration equipment is preferred but not required. Job Responsibilities: Assisting with performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing/ installing commercial/ residential HVAC & Refrigeration systems.  Has strong communication skills and is able to foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members. Access and complete work orders including notes on services provided as well as other hvac jobs related to the task(s) at hand. Submit timesheets and supply house pick tickets.  Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner. Maintains timely and consistent communications with our internal support team. With supervision perform assigned day-to-day repairs, as well as emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes other duties as assigned or required as a HVAC Helper. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary . Compensation:  ~ Based on knowledge and experience with HVAC/ Refrigeration systems. ~$15-$20/hr. Company provided uniforms. Continuing education opportunities. Benefits:  Competitive Pay. Full-Time.
