IT Technician
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Monitor and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other systems. Respond to service tickets and provide timely technical support to end users (on-site or remotely). Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Set up new user accounts and workstations. Maintain IT inventory and track hardware/software licenses. Assist with upgrades and installations of new systems or software. Ensure data security and backup processes are followed. Document technical issues and solutions for future reference. Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to improve systems performance and efficiency. Requirements:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (bachelor's preferred). Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Understanding of TCP/IP networking and system security. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)
