We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team at the Hyatt Regency Savannah property.

Job Summary

Assist the Director of Event Technology with day-to-day hotel sales and operations. Ensure that all the levels of service and standards are met and exceeded in the perception of our clients and customers.

Summary of essential job functions

• Attend Daily BEO Meetings and update Radar with any revisions as needed
• Coordinate all Audio Visual details, including creating orders in Radar, building proposals, forwarding approvals to the end client, etc, on assigned groups.
• Attend Site Visits as needed on behalf of the Director of Event Technology.
• Communicate regularly with Sales and Event teams.
• Assist with AV sets and tech duties as needed
• Ensure rooms are set to specification and the client is communicated to on an as-needed basis.

Skills and Specifications

• Previous audiovisual work experience is recommended
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

Minimum requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to meet deadlines, work a flexible schedule (includes weekends and holidays), be self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high-quality service
• The ability to work with many different types of people on different levels
