FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Information Technology Customer Service Representative (Temporary).

Fort Valley State University, the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia, is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2,800 students including graduate students. JOB SUMMARY:

The Information Technology Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting University staff in the deployment of Apple devices. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service to FVSU alumni, parents, students, and faculty and staff.
• Providing troubleshooting tips for Apple devices.
• Acting as first responder for questions about Apple devices.
• Coordinating with University IT staff for escalations and unique situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to think critically.
• Proven experience providing great Customer Service.
• Great attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Apple's Operating System.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with JAMF MDM, Apple OS certifications or previous tech support experience.
