This travel RN position is based in Decatur, GA, offering the chance to contribute your expertise in a busy Emergency Department (ED) known for its level 1 trauma capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely, high-quality nursing care in the ED float pool, focusing primarily on boarder patients, including med/surg, stepdown, and ICU levels.
• Adapt to patient care needs by potentially floating to acute care units as required.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a demanding clinical setting.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation aligned with facility standards.
• Uphold patient safety protocols and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a similar-sized level 1 trauma center emergency department.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle rapid patient turnover and critical situations.
• Complete, gap-free resume demonstrating continuous clinical experience.
• ED-specific skills checklist and professional references from ED roles.
• Ability to submit all required demographics and a badge-appropriate photograph.
