Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Duration: Permanent Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar-sized facility with documented PCU experience License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Documented experience in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with cardiac population Description: The position involves caring for a cardiac population. The nurse will work in a unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Responsibilities include managing patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain. The nurse will administer cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors. The role may include assignments to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels.
