Summary

An Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages risks, and ensures that project outcomes align with business objectives, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues with proactive mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, scope changes, and vendor relationships.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies or Waterfall phase reviews depending on project methodology.
• Oversee quality assurance, testing, and acceptance processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, and post-implementation support.
• Conduct post-project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards for audit and governance purposes.
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and ensure alignment across all project participants.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven project culture.
• Mentor and guide project team members on best practices in project execution and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within software development or infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase technology projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills / Duties

• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
• Experience managing software development, cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong risk management, budgeting, and resource planning capabilities.
• Ability to mentor project teams and drive continuous process improvement
