Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Assembly Technician will be responsible for operating production equipment and assembling components according to drawings and guidelines to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met. They will inspect and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
Shift: 5:30pm - 4:00am (2-3 months of training will be on 1st shift which is 6:30am - 5pm)
What your day-to-day will look like:
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine assembly instructions.
• Assemble, position, and fasten parts or units using hand and power tools.
• Measure components and verify tolerances with precision instruments like calipers.
• Drill, tap, and prepare bolt holes in parts using appropriate equipment.
• Align and fit component parts using tools, fixtures, or templates.
• Inspect parts for surface defects and check dimensions for specification compliance.
• Clean parts and work areas using cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Install and test wiring, record results, and maintain tool inventory.
To thrive in this role, you have:
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with electromechanical assembly.
• Extensive Wiring experience.
• Direct assembly experience reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
• Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, speak, write).
• Ability to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to learn and process information quickly and execute tasks successfully.
• Ability to work safely and to operate power tools and equipment in a safe manner.

The starting hourly range for this position in Georgia is $19.00 - $21.00 The hourly rate may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
