As a Property Insurance Sales Producer, your primary responsibility is to connect with clients, understand their insurance needs, and offer tailored property insurance solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in building relationships, educating clients, and ensuring they have the right coverage to protect their valuable assets.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
Identify Prospects: Use networking, referrals, and cold calling to find potential clients seeking property insurance.
Assess Needs: Understand clients’ property-related risks, preferences, and budget constraints.
Educate Clients: Explain available insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms.
Customized Solutions:
Recommend Policies: Based on client discussions, recommend suitable property insurance policies
Tailor Coverage: Customize coverage limits, deductibles, and endorsements to meet individual client requirements.
Sales and Negotiation:
Present Proposals: Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
Negotiate Terms: Work to negotiate terms, premiums, and discounts.
Close Deals: Facilitate policy issuance and ensure smooth transactions.
Relationship Management:
Build Trust: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service.
Follow Up: Regularly check in with clients, address queries, and handle policy renewals.
Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other insurance products (e.g., auto, liability).
Market Insights:
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
Competitor Analysis: Understand competitors’ offerings and pricing strategies.
Compliance and Documentation:
Adhere to Regulations: Ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of client interactions, policies, and transactions.
Qualifications:
Licensing: Hold a valid insurance broker license. Member of National Insurance Producer Registry preferred.
Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to persuade, present, and close deals.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with property insurance products (home, commercial, rental).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Results-Driven: Motivated to achieve sales targets.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
Experience:
3 to 5 Years Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance experience essential.
Minimum of 5 years Surplus lines experience
Strategic thinker, infrastructure builder, understands underwriting
