Data Entry Agent

Specialized Technical Services (STS) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Agent to join our growing operations team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for the accurate intake, transcription, and management of critical technical and client information. As a key representative of our remote workflow, you will ensure that our internal databases are consistently updated to support our project management and engineering departments across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Intake: Accurately transcribe and upload technical documentation and client records into our centralized database.
  

• Verification: Review data for errors or inconsistencies, resolving any discrepancies by following standard verification procedures.
  

• Database Maintenance: Update and maintain existing records to ensure the integrity and accessibility of information across our remote network.
  

• Confidentiality: Adhere to strict security protocols to protect proprietary company and client information in a remote environment.
  

• Reporting: Assist in generating periodic reports to track data accuracy and project progress.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a data-focused administrative, agency, or clerical role.
  

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word) and experience with cloud-based CRM or ERP systems.
  

• Efficiency: Exceptional typing speed (50+ WPM) with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
  

• Self-Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  

• Communication: Excellent written communication skills for effective collaboration with a distributed team.
