Location: Johns Creek, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months

Working Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (candidate must be flexible as certain projects may require longer hours - could work until 8:00 PM)

Job Description:

•1 year of microscope experience (must have experience inspecting small part)
•Someone who is detailed oriented
•Someone is able to pivit priorities.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed visual inspections of plastic, silicon parts, and molds; accurately record all findings and observations.


Perform dimensional measurements of parts using microscopes and other precision tools.


Operate an interferometer to measure and verify optical properties.


Make informed and accurate decisions regarding product acceptance based on established standards.


Maintain a clean, safe, and well organized laboratory environment.


Follow written and verbal instructions carefully and consistently.


Adapt to changing priorities and workflow requirements as needed.

Experience / Education


High school diploma or equivalent required.


Associate degree in a technical field preferred.


Hands-on experience using microscopes for inspection and measurement.


Minimum of one year of relevant experience in inspection, quality control, metrology, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies


Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify, classify, and document defects or abnormalities.


Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).


Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.


Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).


Reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.


Ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions with consistency.


Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and fast-paced operational needs.
