Warehouse Receiving and Picking (Milton)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Warehouse Receiver and Order Picker

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Receiver and Order Picker to join our team in Alpharetta. This position plays a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly by receiving materials, pulling orders, moving inventory, supporting production, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and scan guns, while also being comfortable assisting with general sanitation duties. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull paper stock and other materials for the press line based on production needs
• Monitor open roll stock requests and ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner
• Receive paper, packaging materials, and all other incoming supplies
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and report any shortages or damages
• Deliver packages received and place SKUs into their designated warehouse locations
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Move palletized finished product throughout the warehouse and prepare items for shipment
• Use SKU scan guns to track inventory and update warehouse records
• Perform bi-monthly and end-of-month cycle counts
• Assist with inventory organization and maintain accurate stock levels
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris
• Support sanitation efforts throughout the facility, including cleaning work areas, removing trash, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness
• Mix cleaning chemicals and refill chemical bottles according to company procedures and safety standards
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to read a ruler accurately
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Previous experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Previous experience operating machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Experience using SKU scan guns or barcode scanners
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and willingness to assist in multiple areas of the warehouse

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours if needed
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely perform physical labor throughout the day
